Dampak: Jurnal Teknik Lingkungan is a scholarly journal in the field of environmental engineering. It is published by the Department of Environmental Engineering, Universitas Andalas, in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, and shares research findings and ideas on the topics listed under Focus and Scope below. 2. Peer Review Process
The journal aims to follow these review practices:
- Every submitted paper is reviewed by at least two peer reviewers.
- Review is blind: reviewers do not know who the authors are, and authors do not know who the reviewers are.
- Reviewers assess novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusions, and references.
- Reviewers recommend whether a manuscript should be accepted.
- Editors decide whether a manuscript meets the journal’s requirements, and the editors’ decision is final.

4. Open Access
The journal gives immediate open access to all of its content, on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a wider global exchange of knowledge. Open access benefits authors in these ways:
